Labconsort — Redesign B2B Marketplace for Lab Equipment
Labconsort is a B2B marketplace where labs and research institutions buy, sell, and rent pre-owned laboratory and medical equipment across the EU and US — built around a circular-economy model that's already kept dozens of tons of equipment out of landfills.
Our goal was to make a genuinely trust-sensitive purchase — used medical equipment, often worth thousands of euros — feel as safe and straightforward as buying new. Rather than defaulting to a generic e-commerce template, we built condition badges, verified-equipment markers, and full technical specs directly into the browsing experience, so buyers never have to guess what they're getting. The catalog, inquiry cart, and quote flow were designed as one connected system rather than separate features bolted together, since a B2B buyer might compare ten items before committing to one.
The result is a marketplace that treats sustainability and credibility as product features, not marketing claims — helping labs equip smarter without needing to compromise on trust.
