Overview

Jalanori is a travel planning platform designed to simplify group travel decision-making. The landing page introduces a smarter way to plan trips by reducing chaos from group chats and turning scattered preferences into a structured, collaborative experience.

The goal is to position Jalanori as not just a booking platform, but a decision-making system powered by AI, helping groups align faster, plan smarter, and travel better.

Challenge

Planning trips with multiple people is inherently messy. Different preferences, budgets, schedules, and expectations often lead to friction, delays, and decision fatigue.

From a UX perspective, the challenge was:

• - How to reduce cognitive load when users are making multiple decisions (destination, budget, dates, preferences)

• - How to align multiple users into one shared decision flow

Idea & Concept

The concept focuses on transforming a chaotic group travel experience into a structured, guided decision flow. Instead of overwhelming users with too many options, the interface breaks the process into simple, progressive steps—from exploring destinations to aligning preferences and generating a ready-to-go plan.

Key UX approaches:

• - Problem-first messaging → instantly connects with users’ pain point (group chat chaos)

• - Progressive inputs → simplifies complex decisions (where, when, budget, travelers)

• - Curated destination cards → reduces analysis paralysis and speeds up decision-making

• - Guided flow (Discover → Analyze → Plan) → builds clarity and trust, especially for AI-driven features

• - Balance of inspiration & utility → combining emotional travel visuals with practical planning tools
